Synopsis
When the First World War breaks out, Albert's beloved horse, Joey, is sold to the cavalry and shipped to France. The noise and commotion of battle is a far cry from the green fields of home and soon Joey finds himself under enemy fire. He then embarks on an extraordinary journey, serving both sides and eventually ending up lost and alone in no man's land. Meanwhile, Albert has not forgotten Joey. Not old enough to enlist, Albert goes on a quest of his own. To reach the trenches and find his horse, his Joey.
